3 programs
Veterans programs: stockhands hosts veterans nights on the 1st and 3rd friday of each month offering an opportunity for veterans and military personnel to gather in peer support while learning equine assisted therapeutic activities. In addition to the 2 veterans nights, stockhands veteran outreach works with local veterans through partnerships with the delaware county veteran services offices, and delaware and frankling county veteran court dockets to help them with items like community service, connections on housing and food security.
Empowered youth: stockhands empowered youth programs work with local school districts to provide group programming for students who do not do well in a traditional classroom setting whether it is because of behavioral or cognitive struggles. Each program runs 5-9 weeks and serves approximately 10-12 students within each session.
