Mission

Stone barns center is a nonprofit farm, education, and research center with a mission to catalyze an ecological food culture.the organization engages in diversified, regenerative agriculture and explores the patterns of eating needed to support it. We engage in these practices in the bioregion of the hudson valley and seek to broadcast our knowledge to collaborators and partners in our bioregion. Ultimately, our work aspires to inform other regions in the transformation of ecologically-grounded food systems.

The advisory services program is designed to support agricultural, hospitality, and other enterprises in adopting agroecological, sustainable, and climate-resilient practices. Through this initiative, we provide tailored guidance, technical expertise, and strategic support to help organizations align their operations with environmental and social goals. The program is open to a wide range of clientsfrom farms and food producers to hospitality providers and mission-driven businessesseeking to improve ecological outcomes, strengthen community resilience, and contribute to more sustainable local economies.
