The storymakers conference provides education and support for beginning through published fiction writers in indie and traditional publishing. Our community of advisors and mentors identifies new talent and nurtures all writers through craft and business-focused practices.

The whitney awards is an awards program for novels written by authors who are members of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. Elder orson f. Whitney, an early apostle in the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, prophesied: it is our hope to be a part of that journey toward excellence by honoring writers who are members of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints and showcasing, through their work, the standards that make us a unique people.
