Hybrid programs: strategic capacity group provided turn-key logistics support for u.s. Department of state (dos)-nominated participants worldwide to attend corrections training at the international corrections academy-colorado (ica-c) in cannon city, colorado, the maryland police and correctional training center (mpctc) in sykesville, maryland, and the mock prison riot (mpr) event in moundsville, west virginia. Scg developed curricula, supported training delivery, and provided analytic services, including the measurement of training effectiveness across all facilities. Scg established, renovated, maintained, and managed the new ica-c for dos and in coordination with the colorado department of corrections.
Capacity building: strategic capacity group (scg) supported the ministry of interior and public security in senegal to institutionalize effective public security service governance and delivery by developing a national community-oriented policing policy, accompanying doctrine, a national implementation plan, a training and capacity building plan, and accompanying in-service training. In the caribbean, scg completed phase i of a forensic reform project that achieved accreditation of the first accredited forensic laboratory (iso/iec 17025:2017) in the organization of eastern caribbean states and established a regional forensic center of excellence.
Thought leadership: strategic capacity group (scg) designed and delivered an assessment for the u.s. Department of state in kosovo to inform security sector programming. Scg developed a monitoring, evaluation and learning (mel) framework, tools, and analytic services to measure and enhance programmatic impact.
