Stratford Bands Booster

Concert and jazz band - we raise money to support the concert and jazz band programs at Stratford High School, with our largest expenses being local, regional, and national competitions. We also coordinate the parents and volunteers for these activities.

Winter guard - we raise money to support the winter guard program, which is a similar program to what the color guard does in marching band, but it is a separate group of performers who perform to recorded music, incorporating dance and staging. It is a competition judged against other teams using intricate choreography and dance moves and is held inside during the winter. Our largest expenses are related to travel, props, instruction, and uniforms for competitions. We also coordinate parents and volunteers for these activities.
