Street democracy's mission is to create legal mechanisms that address the root causes of homelessness and poverty through the defense of human and civil rights as secured by law. As well as the establishment of economic and housing development models that combat and correct the origins of community deterioration, a condition which leads to and exacerbates homelessness and poverty.
