Mission
The institute was founded to advance and promote the field of somatics, and to develop transformative leaders and organizations that can meet the challenges of our times, leaving our communities and world more vital than we found it. Somatics helps individuals reconnect with the wisdom of their body, heal their conditioned responses, and take actions aligned with their values, even when under pressure. We further our charitable and educational purposes through three main activities, which are conducted year-round: (1) in-person somatic training classes for organizational leaders, social change leaders, and other individuals; (2) an in-person somatic coach certifcation program; (3) virtual classes and a community forum to provide access to strozzi somatics to a broader audience, and foster connection and community among somatic practitioners. Sis is also actively developing a social & environmental justice leaders train-the-trainer program, that will train these leaders in strozzi somat
