Styx River Parrot Rescue

We are a Non profit Parrot Rescue. we take in exotic an non- indigenous birds that need a home either from their bird parents health declines an can no longer care for them they pass away and family doesnt want the bird or the bird was released into the wild an cant survive. we are also piloting a program to have certain species recognized as emotional support animals in the treatment of PTSD in veterans first responders battered woman or anyone dealing with PTSD. Once we purchase the property were renting were going to build trails thru the woods on this 3 acre lot going down to Styx River with bird enclosures along the way to a riverwalk and a open aviary. we also have 2 counselors lined up when were open to help with the treatment of PTSD.
