Suffolk Art League

The suffolk art league is a statewide partner of the virginia musuem of fine arts, richmond and was established 1.) to function as a community oriented fine arts organization and 2) to assist the virginia museum in fulfilling its legislative mandate "to bring education in the arts to all virginians". Founded in 1976, the suffolk art league provides and encourages activities that will increase the understanding and enjoyment of the arts by the citizens of suffolk and the surrounding communities.
