Sugarloaf Community Association

Williams farmers market, held weekly from may through october, provides an opportunity for local farmers and crafters to sell directly to the public. This popular event fosters access to fresh, locally grown organic food, supports the local economy, and creates a safe community gathering space. The market accepts benefits such as snap (supplemental nutrition assistance program) and wic (women, infants, and children) vouchers, making fresh produce more accessible to low-income families.

The sugarloaf resource center is a semi-autonomous all-ages learning and events space, welcoming people of diverse ages and backgrounds to gather, converse, and learn together. There are two rooms, one oriented more towards kids. The space offers wifi, library, air conditioning, art space with supplies and a small kitchen. The space is completely volunteer run and operates from community contribution and participation. There are music events, public events, community potlucks, kids summer programs, spanish language conversation classes, writers meetings and more.
