To provide opportunities to adult non professional musicians to play chamber music, to teach the art of chamber music to adult non professionals, to increase appreciation of chamber music among participants and to open doorways to new and lasting friendships among participants and faculty.

Intensive week- this chamber music workshop provides faculty coached rehearsals and performance opportunities for amateur musicians to play in woodwind, flute, french horn, string and piano ensembles. This program offers an opportunity to work on two repertoire choices, in much more depth, with more sessions on each one. This program served 73 musicians.

Expenses: $151K

Chamber music essentials- this week-long workshop for strings is led by coach/violinist jill schultz. The program is designed to help late starter and emerging string players enter and enjoy the world of chamber music, with a focus on technique, intonation and chamber music skills. Partcipants will explore the various chamber music repertoire available to entry level players, with the week culminating in an ensemble performance. This program served 10 musicians.

Expenses: $3K

Composers collective- 8 bi-weekly online sessions for aspiring composers designated to foster creativity and personal growth in music composition. Guided by composer and educator dr. Nathan lincol-decusatis, these sessions offer a structured and supportive look into the process of writing new music for various instruments. Many participants attend the intensive workshop and perform their compositions. Jazz workshop- a program designed to enrich musicians with a unique jazz ensemble experience with like-minded players eager to explore new and familiar repertoire. Throughout the week participants play in combos, sectionals and extra sessions for history, improvisation and instrumental pedagogy.
