Sun Health Services

With much generosity comes much responsibility and we take our stewardship very seriously. Sun health provided $4,672,845 toward our commitment to superior west valley healthcare services at three community medical centers: del e webb hospital and banner boswell medical center, including oversight and monitoring of the sun health portfolios and real estate gifts. The center for health and wellbeing offers programs, services, and educational classes providing arizonans with the latest information on health and wellness topics to maintain their health and independence. Programs, services and classes include: free and low-cost educational classes, diabetes prevention and management, fall risk assessments, fitness consultations, custom exercise plans, medical nutrition therapy, and massage services.

The care transitions program serves local medical center patients age fifty-five and up by giving individuals the support, guidance and resources to transition from the hospital setting and/or coping with chronic health issues. The program contributes a significant reduction in hospital readmissions.
