PREVENTION SERVICES - Sunshine Family Cares Inc. is dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of services aimed at HIV prevention and support. Our organization provides confidential HIV testing, referral services, and evidence-based prevention interventions designed to reduce HIV transmission. We offer PrEP referral and navigation, as well as education on harm reduction. In addition to these services, we also provide screenings and referrals for essential support services, including assistance with insurance, housing, food, and mental health. Our PrEP services include comprehensive medical care and monitoring. We are committed to being accessible to our community, and we are open six days a week for both walk-in and scheduled appointments. Sunshine Family Cares, Inc. also provided 110 HIV tests in 2024.
STI SERVICES - Sunshine Family Cares, Inc. is committed to providing a comprehensive array of services to address the challenges posed by Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Our goal is to prevent, detect, and effectively treat STDs while also minimizing their impact on individuals and society. We focus on preventing new infections, improving overall health outcomes by minimizing the adverse effects of STIs, reducing health disparities, and implementing integrated efforts to combat the STI epidemic. Our services are available six days a week, offering walk-in and appointment-based testing at minimal or no cost to uninsured individuals. Additionally, our clinic offers direct medication administration and expedited partner therapy to support comprehensive care. Sunshine Family Cares, Inc. provided STI services to 277 patients, and 90 patients were found to be positive for an STI and were treated accordingly.
