Sunshine resources employment services offers specialized training to prepare participants for community employment. This includes job skill classes, resume writing, interview preparation, and employment opportunities. We collaborate with the division of vocational rehabilitation to provide job coaching and exploration. Each participant has a specific plan that is developed to reach their chosen goals and job coach assistance is provided for as long as needed to ensure the participants success. Training occurs both at sunshine resources and in the community with on-the-job support. Our team partners with individuals support networks and local employers to identify employment opportunities that meet the community needs and the employment goals of our participants. Our resale store also provides employment candidates interview attire free of charge.

Our fleet consists accessible buses, transit and minivans and sedans. This fleet provided rides for seniors or individuals with disabilities in door county. Riders included sunshine resources participants and job seekers as well as local schools, nursing home and hospital groups.
