Mission
Our mission is to support the upbringing of under privileged children, irrespective of name or nationality, caste or creed, race or religion by providing basic amenities, education and medical aid in a secure and healthy environment. We build safe and secure homes for orphans, destitute and under privileged children. We feed , shelter and educate underprivileged kids and enabling them to become self respecting members of the society and to help create a healthy and a safe environment for the kids. The effort is to try and make a difference in the lives of a few unfortunate and underprivileged children of the world.In the process we also rehabilitate destitute women and widows by providing them opportunity and employing them as house mothers to care for the kids. SOFKIN constructed two buildings to house the kids. The new building is ready and currently provides a home for 100 children a and will provide for an additional 100 kids.

Grant to Maher Ashram located in Pune India to Support the upbringing of under privileged children, irrespective of name or nationality, caste or creed, race or religion by providing basic amenities, education and medical aid in a secure and healthy environment. The organization's grant to [MAHER] is in furtherance of SOFKIN's mission to support the upbringing of underprivileged children in India. The organization maintains expenditure responsibility over this grant by ensuring that the funds are used towards the organization's exempt purpose. The organization monitors the use of funds, receives and reviews reports from [MAHER] confirming the use of funds and has the right to inspect the financials of [MAHER]. Further if any such funds are not being used towards the exempt purpose of the organization, the organization can demand a return of such funds. Over 60 kids are currently being nurtured under this program.
