TRANSITIONAL HOUSING / RAPID REHOUSING SAFE also continued to provide transitional housing for families for up to two years and communitybased rental assistance for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence. Our transitional housing program provided safe housing for thirteen families, including 27 children and our rapid-rehousing program provided rental support for sixteen adults and 21 children this year. These programs offer families safe and affordable housing while families transition from an unsafe home toward a selfdirected future free of violence. As a result of living in safe, affordable housing, families were able to focus on healing from trauma and securing resources necessary to live lives that are self-directed and violence-free.

THRIFT STOREOperation of the Thrift Store provides opportunities for survivors to volunteer or to obtain paid work experience. Survivors utilizing SAFE services are able to access needed items using SAFE vouchers. Proceeds from the thrift store fund housing, services, and community programs for survivors.
