Our mission is to honor the service and sacrifice of public safety heroes who give their lives in the line of duty - by caring for the loved ones they leave behind.

National memorial service support - we provide financial, logistical, and emotional support to surviving family members of fallen first responders to attend the national memorial service when their loved one is honored. Services include direct financial assistance, travel coordination, and on- site support. We also provide logistical support to agencies and co- workers. We assisted 226 survivors and co-workers in various capacities and provided direct financial support to 106 immediate survivors. Expenses = 47,845 grants = 64,242

Line-of-duty death education - we present classes and other educational initiatives to prepare first responder leaders and support personnel to respond to line-of-duty deaths and promote best practices. The program also raises awareness among first responders regarding federal line-of-duty death benefits and related topics. During the year, 572 participants were served. Expenses = 77,298

Remembrance - provides gifts and other forms of recognition to surviving family members of fallen first responders to demonstrate that their loved ones are remembered and honored. Support includes sending checks with personalized letters and cards to children on birthdays and at christmas, and delivering wreaths to families in their first year of loss between thanksgiving and christmas. During the year, 305 recipients were served. Expenses = 5,654 grants = 22,900 heroes tribute gala weekend - we host a weekend of activities for surviving family members and co-workers of fallen heroes to promote healing and the building of relationships among peers. The main event includes a powerful rendering of honor for the fallen and affirms that they and their families are not forgotten. 224 survivors participated with a total attendance of 552. Expenses = 87,918 grants = 800
