Sustainable Surf

Sustainable surf established the ecoboard project as the first independent 3rd party consumer-facing "eco-label" for surfboards. In 2024 the program continued to focus on building new partnerships with boardshapers, who specifically use innovative and sustainable manufacturing materials and approaches. Over half a million boards have now been manufactured since the launch of the program in 2012. As we continue to bring together surfboard manufacturers and the surf community, our focus is to educate and foster communication and sustainaibility commitments from both sides.
