Mission
Providing youth living on the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Reservation with employment and skill development opportunities as well as mentoring, character building, and life skills training.
Programs
2 programs
A vocational training program that teaches job skills and character skills through a flower seed, bulb, and tuber farm. Employees learn about plant identification, planting plans, fertilization, managing water usage and marketing and sales.
Establish a housing program to provide an opportunity for employees to gain access to affordable housing for first time renters. This provides stable and foundational experience to establish healthy discipline and habits. It also works in conjunction with our vocational training program - both stable employment and stable housing are necessary for a successful economic life and contributions to the community by participants.
