1)To prevent unnecessary euthanasia of cats and dogs through foster, adoption and relocation programs.2)To educate the community in pet spay/neuter programs.3)To reduce the unwanted population by providing low cost sterlization.

Reduced cost sterilization program - individuals with financial needs can apply to have their pet sterilized through the soaps low cost program. The altamaha animal clinic, the vidalia veterinary center, kilgore animal hospital and other veterinarians in our area actively participate in this on going program.
Foster care - soaps provides foster care homes on a short-term basis for animals waiting for adoption or transportation to our other rescue partners from conneticutt to florida. Long-term foster care homes are also provided on an as needed basis for animals with medical or behavioral issues and are deemed unadoptable. Soaps provides foster families with food, medical care and other necessities to properly care for their foster animals.
Soaps provides new pens, new kennels, new dog houses, food, cleaning supplies, veterinary care and computer equipment for the animal control shelters in our service area as needed.
