Project all:63 - sbra 5-year research plan. Self-funded effort to develop a research roadmap for the manufactured housing industry by laying out a path to optimize investments moving forward as the broader housing industry confronts crises related to lack of affordability, productivity, regulations, and trades. The first phase was fact-finding to collect insights from a broad group of experts both internal and external to the manufactured housing industry. The second phase, conducted in 2024, convened a working group of subject matter experts to prepare scoping assessments of the research priorities identified in phase 1. The effort culminated in a research roadmap.
Project all:60 - epri agreement no. 10012891 ca title 24 manufactured homes. Systems building research alliance is under subcontract with electric power research institute (epri), who is contracted with california energy commission (cec #epc-19-035) to develop and prototype all-electric home designs that comply with title 24 standards by using advanced envelope technologies and mechanical systems.
