Taageer Foundation

Taageer foundations effort to help the homeless began in somalia. Taageer raised awareness about homelessness and provided help to the poor community back-home, particularly those without a home. The major goal of the taageer foundation is to reduce homelessness while also increasing the quality of life, creating good sanitary conditions, safe communities, and utilizing the effort and energy of volunteers. My name is asha ahmed, chief executive, and founder of isuroon. I began taageer foundation process and officially registered in state minnesota in september 2019 and officially began operation with 501 (c)3 on march 5, 2022. Taageer foundation came into mind when i visited my mother in somalia may 2019 and found families living under acacia trees with children and old people. Majority of these families were pastoralists. Nomadic and farming rural families. They had no shed, no water, no food or protection from torrential rains. I was emotionally affected by their hardship conditions
