Tacoma hunting and fishing club, inc. Is organized for the pleasure, recreation and other nonprofitable purposes for its members. It is intended to hold land near west point, virginia that its members can use to hunt waterfowl and other game animals native to the commonwealth of virginia as well as enjoy water access for recreational fishing activities. The tract of land, referred to as sweet hall marsh, is approximately 1,000 acres and is located in the tidal freshwater-ologohaline transitional zone of the pamunkey river, one of the two major tributaries of the york river. These hunting and fishing activities were initiated when the corporation was formed in 1901. The activities were conducted by the members.
