The tacoma regional convention & visitor bureau (trcvb) promotes tourism throughout pierce county to increase visitor spending and support the local economy.

The tacoma-pierce county region is marketed as a positive community in which to host events, in order to attract tourism and generate positive exposure for the region among visitors. Trcvb provides marketing and promotion on local, national, and international levels.
Trcvb works with local, regional, and national sporting clubs and organizations to bring amateur athletic events to the tacoma-pierce county region. These events are designed to attract athletes and spectators from across the country.
