Taimaka Project

Innovations in malnutrition treatment program: taimaka uses its malnutrition treatment program to conduct critical research designed to identify better, cheaper, or simpler ways of delivering malnutrition treatment so that scarce resources can go further and more children ultimately get the treatment they need. In 2024, taimaka studied the causes of relapse in sam children treated by the program, whether improved support for mothers suffering from mental illness led to better recovery for their children, and piloted biometrics for improved child identification.
