The mission of the taiwanese american council of greater new york inc. (tac-gny) is to coordinate taiwanese organization and clubs in the greater new york area. Tac-gny also promotes taiwanese culture and visitation and educates the community of great new york about taiwanese american heritage. Tac-gny serves as a coordinating apparatus of taiwanese american organizations and clubs in the greater new york area in order to promote the well-being and betterment of the community and its members. Tac-gny also promotes fellowship, extends acquaintances and educates the community by means of social gatherings and other forms of social intercourse. Tac-gny helps other organizations conducts throughout the year. Tac-gny conducts 5 annual events and various other occasional community events throughout the year in the greater new york area.
