Mission
To provide educational opportunities for tax assessor-collectors and their staff by organizing annual conference and creating educational opportunities such as regional meetings and classes that are approved by institutions of higher education.

2 programs
Educational courses and classes held throughout the state are intended to increase the knowledge of texas property tax and motor vehicle, transportation, and sales tax, and election laws. Codes and rules. Our programs promote awareness of important legislative changes and updates that affect the daily operation of county tax assessor-collector offices across the state. Most of the courses provided are also required to earn certifications in the profession.
Legislative advocasy with the texas legislature acting as a resource educating and informing legislators and staff regarding proposed changes to current laws and rules that affect our office. The intent of the program is to be the entity of choice for the legislature regarding property taxation, motor vehicle titling and registrations and elections, informing legislators and their staff of the effects of potential legislative changes.
