- to promote the general advancement of the offices of the tax commissioner to better serve the citizens of the state of georgia;- to promote understanding and educate tax commissioners and staff in the area of technology and other pertinent educational issues; - to provide a forum for exchange of technical, legal and general information; - to facilitate training, education and research in the management of government agencies; and - to engage in any and all lawful activities incidental to the foregoing purposes except as restricted herein.
