Special Programs for the Aging includes Title III programs: III-B, IIIC-1, and IIIC-2. Services provided are congregate meals, nutrition education, meal screening, training, health support, recreation, assessment, transportation, home delivered meals, and nutrition education.
Community Care for the Elderly The above program serves elderly clients of Taylor County with the following services measured in units of service: case management; companionship; home delivered meals, homeaker services, personal care, respite in home, and specialized medical equipment.
Alzheimers Disease Initiative (ADI) provided case management, medical equipment, and respite (by units) to clients and families affected by the disease. Home Care for the Elderly assisted clients via the following: basic subsidy, case mgt, home delivered meals; specialized medical equipment
