The purposes of the Corporation are to (i) create and produce high quality experimental theatrical pieces, use theater to increase and encourage people of different cultural backgrounds, offer theater workshops.

The Puerto Rican Hispanic Day Parade is a tradition of the Brentwood community that began in 1963. Every year about 3,000 participants from different organizations and cultural groups march with their typical dances and floats throughout the 5th avenues. the parade has been celebrated for over 50 years and an audience of over 50,000 enjoy each year of the event. The annual Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade scheduled for 2021 was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic. However,Teatro Yerbabruja conducted a virtual parade celebration. The event explored the Latino experience the parades 55 year history until todays extraordinary challenges and reasons for celebration.

Arts program for youth in Suffolk County focused on arts, theater, music, creative writing,dance,DJ. Programs will be in person at the Center for the Arts at the Bay Shore Facility and at the after school program at the Brentwood and Central Islip schools. Our Program is open to all Suffolk County Youth.
