Techbuffalo's mission is to create a sustainable, inclusive, and accessible technology community for western new york by improving our region's ability to attract, retain, and foster technology talent.

College tech talent attraction & retention: to activate western new york's college to career talent pipeline, techbuffalo implemented the poweruptech program. Poweruptech is designed to retain college tech talent in western new york by providing supplemental programming to tech/tech aligned interns that elevates wny as a premier place to live, work, and play through placed-based, community-oriented programming and collaborations with local employers. Our program engaged 165+ tech/tech aligned interns from 12 companies.
