Advocacy and systems change: the theme of mysummit 2024 was "amplifying our potential: youth advocacy and the power of now." almost 100 youth and chaperones attended the three-day event, working alongside local city leaders, entrepreneurs, policy experts, and youth-serving programs to develop community advocacy projects to address their communities' most pressing needs.mississippi youth council (mycouncil) worked to secure a youth seat on a new legislative youth mental health task force through sb 2727. Mycouncil worked to defeat hb 1100, preserving young people's access to confidential healthcare, ensuring youth can seek care without fear.

Caring adults: in early 2024, linkedup published a new resource guide to help young people navigate the healthcare system. In partnership with project me, 2020 guides were distributed, and 703 youth received 1:1 guidance from school-based healthcare providers.
