Tempe Chamber Of Commerce Foundation

Tempe cares organizes citizen volunteers to reduce blight and improve the appearance of tempe neighborhoods and community spaces. Several hundred individuals, groups, and businesses come together to invest their combined resources of skilled and unskilled labor, tools, and building materials to improve the quality of life for citizens of tempe.

Tempe youth leadership informs and motivates a diverse group of high school sophmores and juniors by enhancing their leadership skills and providing leadership opportunities on an individual and group level. The program encourages youth to expand their awareness of local issues and community needs; increase their community involvement and volunteer activity; and analyze issues, indentify solutions and develop action plans through issue oriented seminars and interaction with community leaders.
