Mission
The purpose of the organization is to promote better and more effective law enforcement, maintain a high level of ethical conduct on the part of all sheriffs and deputies and provide a form of constant exchange of knowledge of experience among all sheriffs in tennessee.

Provided support services for training and education tennessee 95 counties sheriffs & their deputies along with other employees on current law enforcement procedures and practices. Also, updating them on legal issues that arise each year.the association also provides scholarships to students connected to law enforcement in various institutions of higher education. The association also monitors proposed legislation in the tenneesse general assembly and advises sheriffs and legislators of their effect on law enforcement in tennessee.
The victim service supplement grant is for providing educational sources regarding critical events and how these critical events can affect first responders and how first responders are trained. There are services provided for the officers who have been impacted by critical events in tennessee.
