To work in partnership with indigenous peoples and local communities to strengthen their tenure and ability to preserve, protect and enjoy the benefits of their traditional lands, territories, and resources. As a newly formed organization, the tenure facility fund is the us-based non-profit arm of tenure facility, registered in sweden. It is also the fiscal sponsor of turning tides, an international grant facility dedicated to supporting the tenure and rights of local communities, small-scale fishers and fish workers, and indigenous peoples.
