DANCE EDUCATION - Founded in 2018 as the official school of professional company, Terminus Ballet School (Terminus School) has reached over 8,000 students through annual classes, summer intensives, and open choreographic workshops with the vision of training students that can dance anywhere and achieve anything. Upon joining Regional Dance America (RDA) in 2021 and participating in their annual dance festival, the Terminus school has repeatedly received top honors and has distinguished itself as a top tier ballet institution in the United States. Making world class dance accessible to all as a core company value, the school has given over $180,000 in financial assistance and scholarships to its students ensuring financial need does not act as a barrier to a world class dance education and resulting professional opportunities. Terminus students excel both onstage and academically, regularly earning top academic honors while balancing a rigorous dance training schedule up to six days a week. Each year students are awarded scholarships and admission to the nations top dance schools and universities; including, USC's Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, School of American Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Georgia to name a few. In August 2022, Terminus School moved into its newly renovated 7,700 sq/ft home centrally located in lower Buckhead at the TULA Arts Center. This world class dance facility serves as the operational home of the school and professional company, and allows the organization to expand its service to the community through dance education classes, student scholarships, public performances and open community workshops.

DANCE ENGAGEMENT - Terminus Ballet engagement is ensuring the beauty of dance is made accessible to diverse populations across the metro Atlanta area and Georgia, through free performances, student scholarships, master classes, open classes, open houses, partnerships, and public events, with the overarching goal in reaching audiences traditionally underserved by ballet and professional concert dance. Terminus is deeply committed to community engagement and has reached over 10,000 people to date. Currently, Terminus is working with partners the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Atlanta Public Schools, the Alliance Theatre, and Kennessaw State University to offer free public dance performances, classes, and workshops in 2025, as well as seeking additional community partnerships with organizations that will enable dance engagement opportunities with our youth and senior populations through classes, workshops, and performances.
