Mission

To provide nutritious supplemental food to the teton valley community. We want every person who lives with food insecurity to have healthy food available.

Programs

2 programs

Our collaborations with children include school snacks each week, above and beyond the classroom (abc) where we provide lunch fixings on fridays since our district went to a four-day school week, plus snacks for their after- school program; girls actively participating (gap); teton valley library makerspace, and a backpack program sponsored by the idaho food bank. The average number of children served during these programs range from 1000- 1500 per month.

Expenses: $24K

We continue our collaborations with seniors west of the tetons (swot) by providing weekly check in calls asking if they would like to receive supplemental food from the pantry, to seniors participating in their meals on wheels program. This is an important service we offer and one that is the highlight in our jobs. The commodity supplemental food program (csfp) is in partnership with the idaho food bank, providing qualifying seniors with a food box of extra monthly food.
