Community counseling program: this program provides funding for six free sessions with a local mental wellness provider to any valley resident in need. The program is intended to improve help-seeking behavior among teton valley residents experiencing a mental health condition, reduce barriers to receiving mental health care, increase safety and reduce deaths by suicide, and increase connection to formal and informal resources and supports. Provided 310 free counseling sessions to some of teton valley's most vulnerable residents.

Expenses: $54K

Outreach and education program: this program provides educational opportunities to organizations and the general public. It normalizes mental health care; increases awareness of local resources, supports, and care strategies; and gives the people of our community the knowledge, confidence, means, and ability they need to thrive. In 2024, we launced a new series of community events called "teton valley, let's talk", and hosted events with the topics of teen screen use and mental health, suicide prevention, stress injury prevention for ptsd, and countering the loneliness epidemic, in addition to our regular trainings in mental health topics such as mental health first aid, suicide prevention, trauma informed care, and positive youth development.
