Mission
To promote the proficiency of city managers and other urban administrators and aid in the improvement of municipal administration in texas.
Programs

Tcma held two workshops, william king cole workshop and city problem solving clinics. These workshops discuss city management, current trends in municipal finance and personnel issues, and issues related to efficient city governance.
Tcma also provides support and resources to the national organization,icma, icma'a annual conference, and various programs and pilot projects through out texas educating and supporting city manager style of governance.
