Texas Golf Association

Tga conducts organized golf events for competitive and recreational golfers in every region of the state. These events include statewide and regional championships, qualifying rounds for tga and usga championships, managed events for colleges and the women's southern golf association, fun golf play days (now called "member days") and beginning golf outings. In 2024, more than 11,000 applications were received for more than 160 events comprising more than 22,000 rounds of golf played by almost 4,500 unique golfers. Tga staff were on site at host clubs for almost 300 days to conduct these events.

Tga provides management and support services to related entities as well as contractual management services for other recreational entities. The association contracts with a third party staffing organization as an umbrella organization for its related entities.
