TXTA is a trade organization dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of its members by advocating sound public policies, providing excellence in education, training and information and promoting a safe, dependable and cost-effective motor transportation system to better serve the people of Texas.

Programs

Communication with the trucking industry through educational meetings, seminars, annual meetings, magazines, and newsletters. This promotes knowledge in the trucking industry of governmental laws and regulation, which in turn promotes compliance.

Developing strong safety and maintenance programs for the benefit of the industry and public. TXTA sponsors educational programs for truck drivers and mechanics which promote safety. TXTA also supports programs that will increase the publics understanding of the importance of a safe, dependable transportation system.

TXTA serves as a liason between trucking companies and their drivers and state and federal administration agencies that have jurisdiction over the trucking industry in Texas. This program service benefits approximately 800 member companies.
