TMWF strives to be a leading agency providing compassionate support for survivors of domestic violence. Our mission is to educate, assist, and uplift individuals and families through domestic violence support services, community engagement and awareness.

Programs

6 programs

NON-RESIDENTIAL SERVICES are provided at the agencys outreach office for DV survivors and community members seeking financial assistance or referral services. DV survivors are provided with case management, counseling, legal and empowerment services. In 2024 TMWF served 216 DV clients and 113 Non-DV clients through this program.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING & RAPID RE-HOUSING:TH ensures safe and stable housing while empowering clients to become self-sufficient. TMWF provides 5 short-term housing units through HUD which provides rent-free housing for 90 days and 5 additional units through VAWA funding for longer stays of up to one year dependent on the survivors needs. In 2024, TMWFs TH program collectively housed 100 survivors.The RRH program enables families and individuals experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence to move into permanent housing for up to 12 months, as well as receive targeted services. Clients receive financial literacy and empowerment through ancillary services and support for partial rent and partial utilities while income eligibility applies under HUD standards. In 2024, RRH services housed 101 survivors.

SENIOR HOME: TMWF provides Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and wrap around services providing safety as well as physical and mental health support to female seniors who have been abused and neglected. The PSH program served 7 survivors.

Workforce Development & Food for Good LLC: Food for Good helps women find food service job opportunities by sharing their storytelling of food and culture. It is comprised of a social impact educational culinary workforce training program and a for-profit social enterprise catering business.

OUTREACH: The agency collaborates with mainstream service providers and community partners to raise awareness about DV prevention.
