Mission
Texas Parent to Parent is committed to improving the lives of Texas children and adults who have disabilities, chronic or mental health conditions, and/or other health care needs. TxP2P empowers families to be strong advocates through parent-to-parent support, resource referral, and education. In addition, TxP2P educates professionals about the unique needs of our children with the goal of improving support and opportunities for the families we serve.
Programs

Parent professionals train health care, human services, disability services, education, & related professionals as well as family members on topics related to parenting children with disabilities, chronic illness, & other special needs.
Statewide and Regional Conferences for families of children with disabilities or chronic illnesses and the professionals who support/work with our families.
Training family members/care providers of children and adults with disabilities as well as self-advocates to make public presentations about the needs and rights of children and adults with disabilities and needed support services.
