Grants & scholarships - the trf manages and distributes scholarships to students in the prostart program across the state of texas and manages the tx restaurant relief fund which provides grants to texas foodservice operators in times of crisis (pandemic, wildfires, floods, hurricanes, etc.) to keep their doors open and retain their employees.

Second chances - launched in 2024, the program, in collaboration with the texas department of criminal justice, works to provide justice-involved individuals with training that leads to a long-lasting career in the foodservice upon release.
