Mission
For god and country, the organization is associated for the following purposes:to uphold and defend the constitution of the united states of america; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a 100% americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in all wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state, and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom, and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify comradeship by devotion to mutual helpfulness. A facility is provided for the membership, grants and memorials are paid out, and assistance to sick vets is provided, in furtherance of its mission.
Programs

Sons of the american legion squad and american legion riders: supervision of both the sons of the american legion squadron and american legion riders chapter in its respective organization, activities and recreational and educational programs. There are currently 81 paid squadron members, including 5 dual members who also belong to the legion.
Memorials: record, mark and decorate graves of deceased veterans, render services and comfort to bereaved families and provide military funeral honors with the honor/color guard when requested.
Facility is provided exclusively to members and their guests for their use in enjoying recreational and social activities solely to promote and foster true comradery and patriotism among the members, in acordance with the organization's mission. There are currently a total of 149 distinct paid members, 5 of which belong to both the legion and squadron.
