Programs

3 programs

For women we offer a systems change program which drives impact by participants engaging with state committees and supporting policy efforts, focusing on marginalized communities in the denver front range. We provide resources and advocacy to ensure these communities influence policies that affect them. Our home visiting program, grounded in promoting first relationships principles, offers personalized support to families across four diverse communities, with at least 12 visits per family. Home visitors also lead parenting classes, financial health workshops, and school readiness programs. Our family, friends, and neighbor (ffn) program offers childcare providers workshops to improve skills and credentials. We also host the "motheread-fatheread" workshop to foster positive reading interactions and improve literacy. Preschool workshops support early childhood education, language development, and cultural integration. Through these programs, we empower parents to strengthen leadership skills, connect with others, and drive positive change in schools and communities, creating an enriching environment for children's success.

The workforce project supports individuals to transition into college certificate or degree programs by providing comprehensive support. This includes personalized navigation assistance, fafsa guidance, financial aid support, and help with registration. We also offer resources like homework assistance, time management strategies, and other tools to ensure participants succeed in their academic journey. The program specifically supports students in the community college of denver's career pathway. Funds were spent on tuition, with additional allocations for holistic and comprehensive program support services such as interpretation and homework assistance, ensuring participants receive the help they need to stay on track and achieve goals.
