The arc of pennsylvania works to include all children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities in every community and provide advocacy and resources to these citizens and their families.

Include me from the start - school age - this grant is used to provide training and on-site technical assistance to student focused teams from identified pennsylvania school districts to increase their capacity to educate kindergarten through twelfth grade students with significant disabilities in general education classrooms with supplementary aid services for 80% or more of the school day.

Expenses: $1.1M

Adept/discovery grant - this grant is to implement the inclusive practices for young adult employment pilot program to transition-age students in pennsylvania. This program will hire and train local consultants to offer the discovery customized employment process at high schools for students with complex needs.

Association of community rehabilitation coodinator's (acre) certificate training programprogram to provide employment support providers in pennsylvania the opportunity to obtain multiple certifications.

Policy and information exchange grantthis grant is used to educate council, the general public and pennsylvanians with disabilities and their families about policy issues and to increase the exchange of information between the council, and federal, state and local officers.

Membership servicesthe arc of pennsylvania focuses on systems advocacy and govermental affairs, demonstarting leadership and guidance among disability organization in pennsylvania. Our state office supports our chapters and the general public by coodinating stategic, grassroots advocacy efforts; providing policy analysis/training and overall support to our local chapter's executive directors
