The Broome County Historical Society Inc

Public education - during 2024 broome county historical society produced one publication and a series of collectible oranments, and sponsored nine lectures and special workshops on a variety of topics which were held in-person and simultaneously broadcast live online and recorded for later viewing online.

Collections management - the society maintains a collection of approximately 200,000 itmes. During 2024, additional volunteers, computers and digital scanning stations were added to help the society's campaign to digitze its collection of historic photographs, photo negatives, maps, and documents. One intern was brought on to work with the broome county historical society "pastperfect" museum software package and assist with collections management.
