Cherokee Doula Program is an group of breastfeeding peer counselors and trained full-spectrum birthworkers located on the Qualla Boundary of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
The Center for Native Health, EBCI Natural Resources and the US Forest Service have partnered to develop culturally based land management practices and protocols in consultation with other leading American Indian Tribal Nations across the U.S. The Center for Native Health understands the deep and interconnected relationship between land and community health.
