To promote the prevention of child abuse and family violence in all its forms and to promote interagency collaboration to improve community services for child abuse victims and their families.

Voca is the federal grant that provides funding for staff salaries and fringe for the cac/casa (court appointed special advocates) programs as well as contract workers. This includes operating functions/expenses, a portion of the casa director, executive director, office manager, all of the salary for the casa coordinator and ft victim advocate, a portion of forensic interviews, therapy, advocacy and outreach. Casas are appointed by the family court in henderson and union county. Children may live in another county but their court case must be in henderson or union county. All services are provided at no cost to the child/family and cac programs/services are available to all children under the age of 18 in the 7 county green river district.
Pcak grant is funded by prevent child abuse kentucky through state funds for parenting education classes in the 7 county green river district. Funds are for salary and fringe of a facilitator and operating functions/expenses. Parenting classes are held year-round and on a weekly basis with additional concentrated classes being held twice a year. The classes are held at the warm center in henderson county or via zoom but are available at no charge to anyone in the 7 county green river district.
The organization provides a variety of services for victims of child abuse, neglect, dependency, or domestic violence in a way designed to make children feel comfortable and safe to minimize trauma and prevent further victimization.
